  ⚓ Description He is a special looking canine and easily noticeable. He has short coat, which once held a traditional black and tan look of that of a Rottweiler. With striking tan spots over his eyes, his cheeks and muzzle, and his pecs are spotted with tan, and he has tan on his crotch. From his armpit and to his elbow, and over his hands up to elbow he is tan and legs unevenly from knees down are tan as well. His buttocks have a heart shaped tan spot on it. His knuckles and hindpaws have black spots on them. He also has a thin white blaze on his muzzle, and white star on his chest. Tail is loosely curled with wisps of white hair at the tip. He is heavily scarred, most noticeable on his chest - around his Lifethorn - on his back from flogging and over his left shoulder. He also have scars across his left hip, right thigh, right side of stomach, left ribs, left leg, and on his face. While most of the scars are superficial only, his back and left shoulder tend to hurt if the weather is bad and if he has been sitting still for a while. He can often be seen rolling his left shoulder. As he grew older, the black of his coat started turning white. He has patches of white on his ears, around his eyes, the skin on his nose and lips have turned pink - same with his paw pads, but the tan area of his body is so far mostly untouched save from his crotch. His back is has uneven patches of white fur and he is heavily speckled with white in any areas that are close to his tan markings.

  ⚓ Personality Kumo is emotionally and physically scarred from a long life. He might come off as abrasive, short and hard but it's usually a cover and way to shield his inner thoughts. He stands tall, shows no fear and does what he can. He has a tendency to be quiet and choosing his words with care, adding with his deep voice it tend to make him sound slow or even hesitant which he is neither. Kumo is calculating, non-trusting and yet so desperate at finding someone to be able to trust, and to find comfort with. He is troubled with nightmares and to some degree insomnia, and have flashbacks which are triggered by certain sounds and smells - particularly sounds of whips. He also don’t like being in small spaces without any escapes. He also have a great problem trusting people. It’s a self-preserve mechanism which makes him keep most people at a distance. He has a hard time getting familiar and friendly with people, but is very loyal to the friends he gain. Kumo is a typical realist, with a touch of pessimist. He has no fairy-tale, red-rosed view of the world, and knows if he wants something, he has to fix it himself. You get your hand of cards given to you, and it’s up to you to do the best out of it, which contrasts his once a naive dreamer with wanderlust youth. Who thrived at exploring and visiting new places, learning new languages and skills. Who believed good wine, some calm discussions and charm could work just as well or even better than sheer, brute force.

  ⚓ Abilities Kumo have never been really interesting in fine tuning his natural born abilities, and having left his home early on, he has received little to no training making him mediocre at the best. He has little interst of enhancing his skills for now. Healing Novice- ●○○○○ Can heal small cuts and bruises.   Despite being a well off merchant of silks and other fine threads, Kumo loves having hand on experience learning new things on his travels. These are some of those skills he had learned in a long life, some he is good at, others not so much.

  Skills

  Leather work: ●●○○○ Can use leather to make clothes and pouches and such. His sewing skills are under par though. Still learning Tanning: ●●●○○ A smelly process of turning rawhide and hides into fine, smooth leather. Time staking process that he likes. Language: ●●●●○ He has an ear for language, and easily picks up new ones. It's a useful skill for a merchant. Negotiation; ●●●●○ Rumor has it that he can sweet talk his way out any problems, it be his or others. Diplomacy ●●●●○ Like any Merchant worth their hide, Kumo has his way with people, smooth talking, charming and can be quite so understanding. Rock climbing ●●●○○ It's a fun activity that hones his muscles.

  Cartographer ●●●●● He is a skillful cartographer, able to draw up maps of areas based on memory alone. He loves drawing up maps and charts of new areas he visits. Astrographer ●●●●○ He is just as skillful making details charts of the starry sky. Astronomer ●●●●● He is a skillful astronomer, and knows the starry sky like the back of his hand. Wayfinder ●●●●● He is skilled at reading the wind and the sea and can with relative ease navigate both. Cooking ○○○○○ If he offers to cook, politely refuse the offer.
